- Each word after it is one letter longer and starts with the last letter of the word before.
- Pepperoni letters are fixed. Build each word around them.
- Rarer letters score more, and each row multiplies its word: 1× for the tip, up to 5× for the crust. The day's two topping letters are worth 10 points each.
- Your score is graded against the day's best possible score: Burned, Toasty, Saved or Supreme. A Supreme game with no rejected words and no hints is a Golden Slice.
