How to play Sumplete
Learn to solve a Sumplete Daily 5x5 puzzle by eliminating numbers so each row and column adds up to its target sum.
- Look at the numbers on the right and bottom edges of the grid. These are your target sums — each row and column must add up to its clue.
- If a number in a row exceeds the sum clue, it must be deleted. If the sum clue equals a single cell, that cell is the only keeper.
- Tap once to mark a cell as deleted (X). Tap again to mark it as kept (circle). Tap a third time to reset to unknown.
- When a row is solved, use that information to narrow down columns and vice versa. Cross-referencing is key.
- Once you have crossed out enough cells in a row or column, click the sum clue to automatically mark the remaining unknowns.
