How to play Droplet
Droplet is a free daily word game. Spell words (3+ letters) with the falling tiles. Play bonus squares to score big. Can you beat the clock before you get buried? A new puzzle is published every day at midnight US Eastern, and it.
- CARE. Spell any word 3–8 letters in a straight line, left-to-right or top-to-bottom. No diagonals, no snaking. Each tile drops out of a column you don't choose — steer it on the way down. Lose a life if a column reaches the top of the board. Lose 3 lives and the game is over.
- OAT. A word of four letters or more clears itself. A three-letter word waits: it lights up, and only clears when you tap it. Bank it now, or leave it on the board and try to make it longer — OAT is worth far less than OATS.
- WORD Score each tile's letter value. Earn additional points for word length bonuses and for using bonus squares (2L/3L/4L, 2W/3W/4W). Spell two words in one drop and that drop scores double.
- KARAOKES A 7+ letter word is a Bingo, worth +50 points.
- A ★ wildcard tile stands in for any letter, has no point value, and you pick which letter when it lands. Hold parks a tile you aren't ready for: tap any tile in Next to set it aside, then tap Hold to send it back to the front of the queue. Handy for saving a ★ until it finishes a high-value word.
